Skill Development Training for Women
Market Driven Self-Employable Trade Skills Training in Tailoring for Sustainable Development of Marginalized communities vulnerable Young Girls and Women were provided for 18 women. These Tailoring Training was provided to build the capacities of Marginalized and vulnerable young girls and women to get better opportunities for income generation and improve economic conditions of their families.
These 18 beneficiary women were taught about Dress design and material, Different kinds of fibres, Identification of fibres, Principles of cutting and stitching, Measurements tools and equipment, Types of stitches, Cutting clothes and stitching, Lady Blouse, Sari Petti coat. Body Petti coat etc.

After completion of the training programme as a stipend to motivate and economically empower these women, they were gifted with 18 Sewing Machines to eradicate the root causes of poverty and to enable them become Self Sustainable with respect and self-confidence to be self-Reliant.
